Extending the reasoning from my earlier post of the outlet stores con job..we can easily see how Retail Store clubs like Sams club, costco etc are doing the same thing. I am not even talking about similar looking products having different model number and both models though they look similar will have different features.

I am talking of products which look exactly the same but the one at stores like Costco, Sams club,.. will offer inferior value. Say you buy a toothpaste from regular store and one from these clubs, they look similar but the one in clubs will be inferior. I am sure you would have figured something goofy yourself based on your personal experiences.. (more…)
